Middle East University held a meeting with faculty members who completed scholarship programs at prestigious international universities, as part of its strategy to invest in human capital and enhance academic development.
The university outlined its strategic plan for the coming years, focusing on international engagement and leveraging the expertise gained by returning faculty in education, research, and development.
Returning scholars presented experiences from European universities, emphasising the importance of applying modern academic practices to support university programs.
Deputy Chairman Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Din described the scholarships as a true investment in the future, noting that the real value lies in translating acquired knowledge into applications that benefit the university and society.
University President Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Mahadin highlighted that the returning scholars represent a new generation of leaders capable of driving academic and intellectual change through advanced educational experiences.
Dr. Anis Al-Mansour, Director of the Center for Consulting, Training, and Languages, stressed the need to convert scholarship experiences into tangible development projects and encouraged launching joint research and training initiatives.
The meeting concluded with presentations of ideas and proposals from returning scholars from universities in the UK, USA, Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, and Jordan, reflecting diverse and complementary expertise to support the university’s future trajectory.
