Amman’s central wholesale market received 2,524 tonnes of vegetables, 853 tonnes of fruit, and 276 tonnes of leafy greens Sunday, according to the Greater Amman Municipality.
Market bulletin shows prices per kilogram as follows:
eggplant 15–25 piasters, dry onions 15–35, potatoes 15–30, tomatoes 6–15, carrots 40–60, cucumbers 15–35, cauliflower 10–25, lemons 60–150, and local bananas 60–85 piasters.
