Jordan Kuwait Bank announced its sponsorship of the ‘Feed Them Right’ initiative launched by Farm JO app, aimed at promoting healthy eating habits among students in Wadi Al-Seer schools and providing natural, nutritious meals that help build a healthier generation, while also supporting local farmers by connecting them directly with schools.
The initiative, approved and supervised by the Ministry of Education and Wadi Al-Seer Education Directorate, began with distributing natural food meals to students in five schools. The meals included selected local fruits, vegetables, and healthy baked goods to encourage proper eating habits. Interactive awareness sessions were also held on balanced nutrition and its role in improving children’s health and energy. The programme further promoted environmental and social responsibility through activities encouraging tree planting and food waste reduction.
Jordan Kuwait Bank’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to social responsibility and belief in the initiative’s dual national goals—improving students’ health and empowering Jordanian farmers. The bank said this support aligns with its ongoing role in backing initiatives that combine health, education, and sustainability to lasting community impact.
The project featured creative educational food boxes with drawings and environmental activities that turned mealtime into an engaging learning experience. Volunteers from the bank’s ‘Ambassadors of Goodwill’ programme joined in distributing the boxes to students.
Farm JO described the initiative as a practical example of the “farm-to-school” model, connecting farmers directly with consumers to strengthen the local economy and job opportunities in rural areas. The team thanked Jordan Kuwait Bank for its support and trust in investing in the next generation, calling the partnership a model of effective collaboration between the private sector and community-driven initiatives.
