Jordan Holiday Tourism Office, organiser of the concert featuring Haifa Wehbe and Fares Karam, said the event directly boosted tourism activity and hotel occupancy, generating over JD270,000 in direct and indirect economic returns across several tourism and service sectors in the Kingdom, with around 650 Arab visitors attending.

In a statement Tuesday, the office clarified that the tax exemption granted for the concert did not exceed JD11,000, contrary to social media claims suggesting it reached JD200,000. It explained that the exemption complied with regulations that allow incentives and exemptions for events and festivals held in Jordan, after the office fulfilled all required conditions.

The office noted that hotel occupancy rose significantly, with 306 rooms booked for an estimated JD87,000. Additional revenue came from transportation, dinners, flight tickets, and entry fees paid by Arab visitors — amounting to about JD100,000 — which helped stimulate domestic tourism and increase local spending.

It added that JD7,000 was paid to the Jordanian Artists Association, stressing that the purpose of hosting the concert was to boost tourism and economic activity in the Kingdom and attract Arab visitors.
