Middle East University holds open day for new students

Middle East University held its Open Day to welcome new students on campus, attended by Vice President Prof Ahmad Al-Louzi, several deans, faculty and administrative members, and a large number of students from various colleges and majors. The event aimed to strengthen communication between students and the academic administration while fostering an inclusive and interactive university environment.

Dean of Student Affairs Dr Hazem Al-Nsour opened the event with a welcoming speech, expressing pride in the new students’ enrolment and describing the university as a hub for knowledge, creativity and excellence. He stressed MEU’s commitment to providing a nurturing academic environment that encourages active participation and develops students’ leadership and creative abilities.

The open day featured vibrant activities across campus, including sports events, competitions, and stand-up comedy performances that added a lively and engaging atmosphere. It also included cultural and educational contests promoting teamwork, creativity and friendly competition.

The celebration concluded with a musical performance by the university’s choir, whose songs received wide interaction and reflected the spirit of joy and belonging that characterises MEU’s community.

The event reaffirmed MEU’s dedication to fostering a stimulating university experience that promotes collaboration and positive engagement across the academic community.
