The Jordanian Group for Free and Development Zones announced Thursday the temporary closure of Ajloun Cable Car from Tuesday, 18 November 2025, until Tuesday, 2 December 2025, for comprehensive routine maintenance. The move comes as part of the approved plan to ensure operational efficiency and readiness of facilities to welcome visitors, while maintaining highest safety and service standards.

Tarik Al-Maaytah, Director of Ajloun Development Zone, said the maintenance is part of the Group’s preventive program across its tourism projects to guarantee continuous high performance and visitor safety. He added that operations will resume immediately upon completion of maintenance as scheduled.

Al-Maaytah emphasized that the Group applies global standards in all operational and maintenance processes, prioritizing public safety and visitor comfort. The cable car remains a key tourist attraction in northern Jordan, contributing to the region’s economic and developmental activity, and reflecting the Group’s vision for sustainable tourism combining natural beauty with modern infrastructure.
