King, Indonesian president attend joint drone exercise in Jakarta

King Abdullah and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto observe joint drone drill Deep Claw in Jakarta on Saturday. Exercise, conducted by King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces and Indonesian counterparts, focuses on deploying drones to support ground operations.

Drill showcases advanced use of Jordan-made drones, including FPV systems, for reconnaissance, surveillance and precision targeting without exposing personnel to risk.

Exercise aims to boost military cooperation, develop joint operational capabilities and improve ability to neutralise multiple threats while maintaining air and ground safety.

Event attended by Princess Salma, Prince Ghazi, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Joint Chiefs chairman Yousef Huneiti and Royal Court officials.
