Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz reiterated his hardline stance, saying Sunday: “Israel’s policy is clear: no Palestinian state will be established.”

Katz added on X that “Israeli army will remain on top of Mount Hermon and in the security zone.”

Regarding Hamas disarmament, he said: “Gaza will be cleared of weapons down to the last tunnel. Hamas will be disarmed in the Yellow Zone by the Israeli army, and in Old Gaza either by the international force or by the Israeli army.”
