The Youth Executive Committee of Al-Mithaq Al-Watani, in cooperation with Mahafathi Foundation for Volunteer Work and Training, organized a discussion session titled “Our Future Opportunities – Work, Education, Energy.” The event was sponsored by Independent Election Commission Chairman Eng. Musa Al-Ma’ayta and attended by the acting Secretary-General, party leadership, central council members, youth committee members, and representatives from Mahafathi Foundation.

Al-Ma’ayta emphasized that political parties’ role is active participation in parliamentary elections to implement programs through the House of Representatives and executive authority. He highlighted the importance of collective work and clear political party identity, noting that threshold systems strengthen organized party work. He also stressed that integrating AI in governance requires developing party tools to keep pace with rapid changes.

The acting Secretary-General of Al-Mithaq Al-Watani stressed empowering youth as a driving force for the economy and the need to implement actionable plans addressing citizens’ concerns, aligning with King Abdullah II’s visions for political, economic, and administrative modernization.

The Assistant Secretary-General for Youth highlighted the party’s initiatives with civil society institutions to expand youth knowledge and skills, focusing on technical education, vocational training, and economic empowerment. Mahafathi Foundation’s deputy director affirmed that technical education and training are key investments in Jordanian youth’s future.

The event included three specialized sessions covering job opportunities, with experts discussing youth economic and political empowerment, vocational training, and building skills for the labor market to ensure real opportunities that support both youth and national economy.
