Amman – King Abdullah II visits Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) in Islamabad on Sunday. King reviews the work of the state-owned company specialising in research, development and production of modern military and defence equipment.

Talks focus on cooperation and exchange of expertise between Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army and the company within broader Jordan–Pakistan military cooperation.

Visit is followed by the King and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attending a Pakistani military exercise featuring marksmanship, manoeuvre skills, air-force displays and multi-domain operations.

Princess Salma, Prince Ghazi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj Gen Yousef Huneiti and Royal Court officials accompany the King.
