Princess Ghida Talal, chair of the board of trustees of King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, honours Arab Bank, represented by board chairman Sabih Masri, for its platinum sponsorship of the 2025 Hussein Cancer Research Award and its continued support for the foundation’s mission.

The award is granted annually to recognise leading contributions in cancer research, promote advances in prevention and treatment, and strengthen regional and international research cooperation.

During the ceremony, Prince Talal bin Mohammad, on behalf of the King and Queen, and Princess Ghida honoured distinguished Arab scientists and researchers selected from hundreds of applicants from more than 26 countries for their impact on cancer research and scientific progress.

The event was attended by members of the royal family, ministers, board members, oncology experts, academics, media figures, and supporters of the award.

Arab Bank’s fifth consecutive year of sponsorship comes as part of its social responsibility efforts and its commitment to supporting the initiatives of the King Hussein Cancer Center and advancing cancer research in the Arab world.
