Poetry morning at Middle East University revives Arabic language aesthetics

Arabic Language and Literature Department at Middle East University holds poetry morning titled ‘Poetic Spaces’ in cooperation with Arab House Cultural Forum.

Event attended by Dean of the Faculty Ayat Al-Mograbi, forum programmes director Mirna Hatqoua, faculty members and students.

Session presented by Jumana Al-Salem aims to energise literary activity on campus, revive Arabic language aesthetics and values, and support young poetic talent.

Poets Anwar Al-Sheer, Ali Al-Faouri and Shafiq Al-Ataoneh recite national, human and pan-Arab poems.

College honours participating poets and the Arab House Cultural Forum. Students ask questions and receive guidance on developing poetic writing skills.
