Amman Ahliya tops SheHacks competition among 27 Jordanian universities

Amman – Amman Ahliya University, represented by Code4Her team from the College of Information Technology, won first place in SheHacks, the national competition for female students organised by Al-Da’era Al-Khadra under the patronage of Princess Basma bint Ali.

The competition included 49 teams from 27 public and private universities across diverse technical fields. The winning team comprised Lamis Sha’th, Sally Al-Kabariti, Rania Matar, and Hiba Al-Khararbeh, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, Dean of the College of IT, lecturer Nidaa Al-Shaf’i, and Hussein Al-Zaghatit.

The victory highlights the university’s excellence in technology and programming and reflects its commitment to fostering innovation and supporting female participation in technical fields.
