Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Tuesday Jordan’s priority is ending the assault on Gaza and preventing displacement and killings.

During the Foreign Ministry budget discussion in the Lower House’s Finance Committee, Safadi said Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire continue.
He added Jordan stands with Syria under direct directives from King Abdullah II, noting regional stability serves Jordan’s economic priorities.

Key points from Safadi:
• Gaza assault caused massive destruction; stopping it was essential
• Jordan’s red lines: deterring Israeli aggression, ending killings and displacement
• Regional coordination to deter aggression continues
• Ending bloodshed, starvation and displacement is Jordan’s official goal
• Jordan continues pressure to ensure ceasefire compliance and aid entry into Gaza
• Jordan’s stance on Palestine remains clear
• Preserving Syria’s security, unity and stability is a main Jordanian objective
• Allocated budget covers diplomatic work; ministry aims to use it efficiently
• Consular services being improved and fully automated
• Core mission is serving Jordanians and ensuring their political and economic wellbeing
