Nasereddin discusses future of education and youth role in Jordan’s second centennial

Head of Middle East University board of trustees and member of the 29th Senate Yaacoub Nasereddin says future of education in Jordan forms core pillar of state project in second centennial, stressing that empowering youth and strengthening their role in public life and decision-making is national necessity driven by rapid knowledge and technology shifts.

Remarks come during his visit to Roya TV and meeting with its general manager Fares al-Sayegh, as he appears on programme Dunia Ya Dunia. In discussion with Ghada Saba and Naser al-Sheikh, he addresses key issues shaping coming phase.

Nasereddin says royal discussion papers serve as intellectual reference for mapping political and educational modernisation, enabling sustainable development model based on knowledge and innovation.

He stresses need to develop flexible education system able to follow global changes and to expand youth presence as driving force of national transformation across sectors.

During visit, he meets group of Middle East University graduates working at Roya, including creatives Mays Alayan and Mohammad Nimer. He expresses pride in their advanced level, saying their presence reflects university’s growing ability to prepare skilled, innovative graduates ready to integrate effectively into competitive, fast-evolving media environment.
