A strong start for Jordan in the World Boxing Championships

The Jordanian national boxing players, Youssef Ashish and Ahmed Al-Tuaimat, succeeded in achieving a strong start in the World Championships held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, with the participation of 538 players from 107 countries.

During the first day of the tournament, player Youssef Ashish won the 64th round of the weight (54-57 kg) competition against the Japanese Harada, to move to the 32nd round, in which he will meet Albanian Hatshalrani.

In turn, the player Ahmed Al-Tuaimat managed to achieve victory in the same round and within the weight (86-92 kg) competitions over Azeri Ildar Julie, to move to the 32nd round, in which he will meet the second seed in this weight, the Spaniard Emmanuel Reyes.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the Jordanian national team will participate in the tournament, where Uday Al-Hindawi, weighing (80-86 kg), will play in the 32nd round, with the Montenegrin national team player, Peter.

Obada Al-Kasba will meet in the weight (60-63.5 kg) competitions in the round of 64 with the Antigua and Barbuda national team player, Ryan Alston.

Muhammad Al Muhairat will face (71-75 kg) in the round of 64, South Korean Kim Sokhan.
