Commemorative bronze coin marks ‘Nashama’ qualification for World Cup

Decision published in Official Gazette Tuesday approves issuance of commemorative bronze coin to mark national football team qualification for 2026 World Cup finals.

Decision states issuance to follow specifications and descriptions set by Central Bank of Jordan.

Draw for 2026 World Cup, set to take place in United States, places national team in group with Austria, Algeria and Argentina, with matches scheduled in San Francisco and Dallas.

National team opens campaign against Austria on 16 June 2026 in San Francisco, then faces Algeria on 22 June at same venue.

In final group match, national team plays reigning world champions Argentina on 27 June 2026 in Dallas.
