Under Royal Directives, Immediate Care Provided to Family with Disabilities Epitomizing Self-Reliance
Head of Royal Court Vows Ongoing Hashemite Guardianship to Uphold Citizen Dignity
AMMAN – December 21, 2025 – In response to directives from His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Head of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, hosted an inspirational Jordanian family on Sunday. The family, comprised of three siblings with disabilities, has become a symbol of patience and dignified self-reliance while enduring severe living conditions that lack the fundamental requirements for a decent life.
The meeting served as a direct channel to assess their circumstances and listen to their needs. Throughout the discussion, the family's profound sense of pride and contentedness was unmistakable. Despite their pressing challenges, their appeals were remarkably modest, focused solely on securing suitable employment that aligns with their physical capabilities, allowing them to live independently and with honor—a reflection of the Quranic principle, "they do not ask people persistently" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:273).
Al-Issawi confirmed that the Royal Court, acting on His Majesty's instructions, will promptly mobilize to deliver all necessary support and fulfill the family's requirements to ensure a stable and dignified livelihood. He stressed that persons with disabilities and all citizens remain under the constant and watchful care of the Hashemite leadership, wherever they may be.
He further emphasized that ensuring a dignified standard of living and improving citizen welfare form a top priority for His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, affirming that all institutional efforts are dedicated to serving the people and meeting their aspirations.
The story of the siblings—Amal, Fadwa, and Ibrahim Al-Nabarawi—first came to public attention through a post on social media, highlighting their resilient spirit in the face of adversity.
