jordan pulse -

Despite government efforts to revive Jordan Post Company, including board changes, closure of several offices and cost-cutting measures, debts still weigh heavily on company and slow its progress.
MP Mustafa Al-Amawi submits question to Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on total debts owed by Jordan Post as of 31 December 2025, including domestic and foreign liabilities, employee dues, ongoing legal cases and obligations to electricity companies. He calls for clarification of debt values and related fines.
Al-Amawi also asks about amounts owed to Social Security Corporation and legal basis for non-payment of sales tax trust balances due from Jordan Post, total accumulated balance to date and fines resulting from delay.
