Mukalla strike
Early today, Saudi Press Agency reports Arab Coalition asks civilians evacuate Mukalla port in Hadramout until further notice to protect civilians ahead military operation.
Later, agency cites Joint Forces Command confirming limited airstrike targets external military support at Mukalla port, saying no casualties or collateral damage result.
Coalition says it tracks two ships arriving from Fujairah to Mukalla on Saturday and Sunday without official permits, adding ships disable tracking systems and unload weapons to support Southern Transitional Council forces to fuel conflict.
On Saturday, coalition announces decision move militarily against violations by Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout following request from Al-Alimi.
Southern Transitional Council, which seeks secession of south Yemen, carries out sudden military moves early December, announces control of Hadramout and Al-Mahra, later rejects local and regional calls withdraw.
