In a politically significant scene that goes beyond traditional meetings and protocol courtesies, the meeting between Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi and youth of the RYS International Youth Action Platform reaffirmed that Jordan, under Hashemite leadership, continues to entrench a deep dialogue approach with youth as genuine partners in the national project, not merely recipients of public discourse.
Six continuous hours of sitting, dialogue and direct listening brought together Al-Issawi with youth from across the Kingdom, reflecting geographic diversity and unity of purpose, and sending a clear political message that Jordanian youth stand at the heart of decision-making and that state doors remain open to responsible proposals and serious opinion.
During the meeting, Abu Al-Hassan engaged with youth not only as a senior official but as a committed partner keen to listen and understand, translating Royal directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein that political, economic and administrative modernisation cannot succeed without youth participation, listening to them, and building on their ideas and initiatives.
Notably, dialogue was marked by a high ceiling of frankness and responsibility, as youth addressed issues affecting their daily reality, from economic challenges and employment opportunities to political participation and role of youth initiatives in national development, amid genuine attentiveness reflecting state confidence in youth awareness and capacity to diagnose challenges deeply.
From a broader political perspective, Al-Issawi insistence on dedicating extended time to dialogue with youth reflects deep understanding of current phase facing Jordan, a phase requiring rebuilding trust, enhancing partnership, and transforming dialogue into an effective tool in public policy-making rather than a media façade.
Meeting also highlights central role of Royal Hashemite Court as bridge between leadership and public, and as inclusive national space through which citizens’ concerns, particularly youth, reach decision-making centres within an institutional framework that safeguards stability and strengthens positive engagement in public affairs.
Amid accelerating regional and economic challenges, this Jordanian model delivers a key political message that true stability is built not by decisions alone, but through dialogue, inclusion and investment in Jordanian people, especially youth, as safety valve and guardians of the future.
Youth of RYS International Youth Action Platform presented an honourable model of aware Jordanian youth capable of articulating their issues in responsible national language, believing in state and institutions and seeking reform from within, in clear harmony with Hashemite vision for Jordan future.
In conclusion, meeting between Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi “Abu Al-Hassan” and RYS youth was not a passing stop, but a mature political practice affirming that Jordan is governed with state mindset and wisdom of dialogue, placing youth at heart of national equation as partners of present and makers of tomorrow.
