The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, at dawn on Monday, that the number of martyrs, during the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on Balata refugee camp in Nablus, has risen to 3.

Among the martyrs was Muhammad Bilal Zaytoun (32 years old).

Large forces of the Israeli occupation army stormed Balata refugee camp at dawn on Monday, amid heavy gunfire and clashes, which led to the death of the three young men and the injury of at least 3 others by the occupation bullets.

The Palestinian News Agency, quoting eyewitnesses in the camp, said that the occupation forces deployed their snipers over some houses near the camp, and prevented ambulances from entering the camp and evacuating some of the injured.

The Israeli occupation forces blew up 3 houses during their raid into Balata camp, from which the house of the Abu Shallal family was identified. Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces blew up the house without informing the neighboring house owners, as a result of which a young man and a girl were injured by window shards, and severe material damage was caused to the neighboring houses.

With the rise of the three young men in Balata camp, the number of martyrs shot by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers since the beginning of this year has risen to 156, 36 of whom were in the Gaza Strip, including 26 children.
