Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif urges United States to ‘abduct’ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and hand him over for trial over crimes against Palestinians.
In television interview aired by Pakistan Geo News on Thursday, Asif says Washington should arrest Netanyahu by force and present him to international justice, describing him as ‘worst criminal in human history’.
Asif claims International Criminal Court issues ruling against Netanyahu and says international community must enforce its decisions, repeating call during live broadcast.
Pakistan NDTV quotes Asif saying no society commits crimes like those Israel commits against Palestinians over past thousands of years, adding world never sees criminal greater than Netanyahu.
Minister says crimes in Gaza represent unprecedented violation of international humanitarian law, calling on states to move beyond political condemnation to enforcement of international justice.
Asif cites ICC decisions as legal basis, stressing court issues arrest warrants against Netanyahu and countries must implement them.
International Criminal Court issues arrest warrants on 21 November 2024 against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Warrants remain subject of legal and political battles through 2025 amid Israeli and US pressure challenging court jurisdiction.
