US President Donald Trump on Friday congratulates formation of Palestinian national committee to manage Gaza, calling it vital step forward in implementing phase two of his comprehensive plan to end war in Gaza.
Trump plan consists of 20 points aimed at achieving peace, stability, reconstruction and lasting prosperity in region.

Development aligns fully with UN Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025), which endorses Trump comprehensive plan and welcomes establishment of ‘Peace Council’.
Peace Council
Peace Council to play central role in delivering all 20 points of Trump plan, providing strategic oversight, mobilising international resources and ensuring accountability as Gaza transitions from conflict to peace and development.
To operationalise vision under Trump leadership, founding executive council formed, comprising figures with expertise in diplomacy, development, infrastructure and economic strategy.
Appointed members:
– US Secretary of State Marco Rubio
– US envoy Steve Witkoff
– Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump
– Former UK prime minister Tony Blair
– Billionaire Mark Rowan, private equity executive
– World Bank Group president Ajay Banga
– Robert Gabriel, Trump adviser
Each executive council member to oversee specific critical portfolios for Gaza stability and long-term success, including governance capacity-building, regional relations, reconstruction, investment attraction, large-scale financing and capital mobilisation.
In support of vision, Trump appoints Aryeh Lightstone and Josh Gruenbaum as senior advisers to Peace Council, tasked with leading strategy and daily operations, translating council mandate and diplomatic priorities into disciplined implementation.
