King stresses need to continue developing party work mechanisms to serve public interest

King Abdullah II meets members of House of Representatives Permanent Bureau, including Speaker, deputies and assistants, at Al Husseiniya Palace.
King stresses importance of continuing work to develop mechanisms of party action, in a way that serves public interest and strengthens citizens’ trust.
King points to need for continued coordination between House of Representatives, government and Senate on national priorities in coming phase.
Meeting discusses overall regional developments, and efforts by Kingdom and partners to restore stability.
House Speaker Mazen Al Qadi says serving Jordanians remains core of parliamentary work, noting House commitment to exercising legislative and oversight role to fullest extent.
Members of Permanent Bureau highlight key domestic issues to be prioritised in coming period, to be addressed in cooperation with Senate and government.
Meeting attended by Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al Issawi and Director of King’s Office Alaa Al Batayneh.
