The number of mobile phone subscriptions in Jordan grew by 5.46% compared to the first quarter of this year and last year.

According to data from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, the number of mobile phone subscribers in the first quarter of this year reached a total of 7,690,734 million subscribers, while in the first quarter of 2022 it reached 7,292,548 million subscribers, an increase of 398,186 thousand subscribers.

These numbers constitute the share of the three operators in the local market.

The authority confirmed earlier that the subscription numbers are real and not inflated, reflecting the reality and size of the local market.
