Landmark academic collaboration brings international medical education to medical students through leading healthcare institutions
Alte University of Georgia has signed a comprehensive academic and medical cooperation agreement with Jordan's Biolab Medical Laboratory, Bioclinic medical centers, and Bioscan radiology&medical imaging, marking a significant milestone for medical education in the Kingdom.
The partnership, which follows Alte University's official academic recognition in Jordan, represents the first collaboration of its kind between the Georgian institution and Jordanian medical establishments. It reflects the growing international standing of Jordan's healthcare sector and positions these locally based, internationally accredited institutions as key training partners for medical students enrolled at Alte University.
Under the agreement, students from Alte University's Faculty of Medicine will gain access to clinical and practical training opportunities across Biolab's network of facilities, including Bioclinic and Bioscan. This hands-on experience will bridge academic knowledge with real-world application in an advanced healthcare environment that mirrors Jordan's modern health system.
The collaboration is designed to sharpen students' clinical skills, elevate their professional competencies to meet international medical standards, and prepare them for medical careers locally, regionally, and globally.
This agreement underlines the pioneering role that Biolab Medical Laboratory and its partner institutions play as premier medical establishments in the region. It also reflects the confidence international academic institutions place in Jordanian medical expertise that are among the few in the region that combine diagnostic excellence, cutting-edge medical technology, and international accreditations, making them ideal partners for practical, applied medical education.
Dr. Ameed Abdel Nour, Founder and CEO of Biolab Medical Laboratory, expressed his pride in the partnership: "We are honored to be Alte University's first Jordanian medical partners following their official accreditation in the Kingdom. This reflects growing international confidence in the professional and scientific caliber of Jordan's medical institutions and their ability to contribute meaningfully to training qualified medical professionals according to the highest global standards."
Dr. Abdel Nour emphasized that genuine investment in healthcare begins with education and practical training, noting that this partnership represents a strategic step toward transferring knowledge and expertise to medical students and immersing them in an advanced, real-world working environment that mirrors best global medical practices.
Biolab Medical Laboratory has a proven track record in international collaboration. Since 2017, the company has maintained a strategic partnership with EVEX Medical Corporation in Georgia, establishing one of the largest medical laboratories of its kind among West Asian nations in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. That partnership enabled Biolab to transfer its advanced expertise to Georgia through its Jordan-developed digital medical platform, which links patient medical records and results and unifies the operations of dozens of medical laboratories within a single centralized network.
Bioscan centers provide advanced radiology and medical imaging services using the latest diagnostic technologies, while Bioclinic facilities deliver comprehensive medical services in a modern clinical environment, enhancing the quality of practical training and connecting medical education with field application according to international standards.
Biolab Medical Laboratory is a pioneer in medical diagnostics and laboratory testing, offering more than 700 types of medical tests to individuals, physicians, hospitals, and other laboratories throughout the Middle East and Jordan. The company operates 27 branches across strategic locations in the Kingdom.
Biolab holds prestigious international accreditations, including the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Joint Commission International (JCI), ISO 15189 from the Jordan Accreditation System (JAS) for distinguished health services, Healthcare Accreditation Council (HCAC) accreditation, and ISO 27001 for information security management.
