Company secures certification after passing comprehensive audits covering review of policies, procedures and approved systems, alongside full assessment of occupational health and safety practices. Evaluation process includes gap analysis, review of existing safety system, documentation and preparation of general safety guidelines, training phase involving system rollout and staff training, internal audit to review performance and correct issues, followed by final audit.
Zain recently obtains EDGE green buildings certification granted by International Finance Corporation of World Bank Group, in cooperation with Green Business Certification Inc (GBCI), becoming first telecom company in kingdom to receive this international accreditation.
