Zain Jordan receives ISO 45001 certification for occupational health, safety

Amman, 4 February 2026 — Zain Jordan receives ISO 45001 certification, international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), recognising company commitment to providing safe, healthy work environment and promoting safety culture across operations.
Certification reflects Zain Jordan commitment to applying best international specifications and highest efficiency standards, alongside continuous development of occupational health and safety systems across company buildings and outlets. Measures aim to enhance safe, sustainable workplace, ensure safety of employees, visitors and customers, and comply with local and global regulations.
Award marks advanced step in Zain journey, integrating occupational health and safety concepts into daily operations, contributing to responsible, sustainable work environment that places employees at top of priorities.
Company secures certification after passing comprehensive audits covering review of policies, procedures and approved systems, alongside full assessment of occupational health and safety practices. Evaluation process includes gap analysis, review of existing safety system, documentation and preparation of general safety guidelines, training phase involving system rollout and staff training, internal audit to review performance and correct issues, followed by final audit.
Zain recently obtains EDGE green buildings certification granted by International Finance Corporation of World Bank Group, in cooperation with Green Business Certification Inc (GBCI), becoming first telecom company in kingdom to receive this international accreditation. Certification confirms commitment to global standards in energy, water and materials efficiency, adoption of responsible operational practices, reduction of environmental impact and strengthening of institutional sustainability.
