Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al Issawi on Thursday patronises celebration organised by Jadara University on occasion of birthday of King Abdullah II, attended by political, parliamentary, academic and community figures, alongside large turnout of university students.
Chairman of Board of Directors Shukri Al Marashdeh says King birthday marks message of loyalty to homeland and its leader, and renewal of pledge of absolute allegiance to Hashemite leadership and commitment to values of Islam.
In speech during ceremony, Al Marashdeh says occasion reflects depth of belonging and pride in Jordanian identity and wise Hashemite leadership.
He adds security and stability enjoyed by Jordan, despite fires and crises across region, prove wisdom of Hashemite leadership, soundness of its path, and harmony between Jordanian people and their leadership and homeland.
Al Marashdeh says this reality only achieved through cohesion of internal front and balanced approach led by Hashemite leadership, noting Hashemite lineage embodies legacy of wisdom and sound leadership across generations.
He stresses Jordanians, including Jadara University community, move forward behind leadership, calling for building on national achievements and continuing journey towards progress and success despite challenges.
University President Habis Al Zboon voices pride of university community in King leadership, extending congratulations to King on birthday, praying for continued health and wellbeing and for Jordan to remain strong and secure under Hashemite banner.
Al Zboon says King life journey, spanning 64 years of giving, offers model of leadership rooted in closeness to people, protection of dignity, honouring commitments, strengthening rule of law and institutions, and building capable Jordanian citizen.
He says Jordan under King becomes oasis of security and stability and voice of reason in world full of crises.
Al Zboon notes achievements during King reign span all sectors, especially armed forces and security services safeguarding country and borders, alongside advances in education, health and infrastructure, based on belief that real investment lies in people.
He praises King positions supporting Palestinians and defending their legitimate rights in international forums, and King political and humanitarian stance backing people of Gaza, describing them as expression of Hashemite Jordanian conscience.
Al Zboon reaffirms Jadara University commitment to King directives on strengthening national unity, supporting reform path and building aware generation loyal to homeland and leadership, commending efforts of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
During event, Al Issawi opens Hashemites photo exhibition organised by Military Media Directorate in cooperation with university, documenting journey of glory and loyalty in building Jordan and elevating its status.
Exhibition also documents key stages of King life and national achievements during his reign, highlighting role in safeguarding security and stability of Kingdom and strengthening regional and international standing.
Celebration includes video presentation showcasing key moments of King courageous leadership locally, regionally and internationally.
Theatre performance by students of university American Schools for Middle East reflects values of loyalty and belonging and spirit of national unity.
Public Security Directorate band performs national musical pieces, alongside national artistic performances by Ghazlan Al Ramtha troupe and singing segment by artist Omar Al Sqar.
