ranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the United States did not ask Tehran to abandon uranium enrichment during talks held الثلاثاء in Geneva under Omani mediation.
In an interview broadcast Friday on MSNBC, Araghchi stated: “We did not propose any suspension, and the United States did not request zero enrichment.”
U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for a complete ban on uranium enrichment in Iran — a demand Tehran considers a red line in any negotiations concerning its nuclear program.
