Arab Bank has supported Ramadan activities organized by Haya Cultural Center as part of the “Draw a Smile” initiative, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to community programs focused on children and improving quality of life for underprivileged groups.
The initiative targeted 100 children through a comprehensive program of recreational and educational activities designed to provide a meaningful Ramadan experience. Activities included indoor games, movement-based exercises, creative art experiences, theatrical performances, and a “treasure hunt” organized within safe and well-prepared play areas. The program also featured a collective suhoor meal and the distribution of gifts in a warm Ramadan atmosphere reflecting solidarity and compassion.
Arab Bank volunteers, alongside the Haya Cultural Center team, participated in organizing and implementing the activities, underscoring the bank’s commitment to promoting volunteerism and reinforcing social responsibility among its staff.
Reem Al-Adwan, Director General of Haya Cultural Center, said the “Draw a Smile” initiative was designed this year as an integrated program combining entertainment, learning, and social interaction. She noted that collaboration with national institutions such as Arab Bank, along with active civil society organizations, helps expand outreach and maximize positive impact on participating children.
Founded in 1976, Haya Cultural Center continues to deliver cultural, artistic, and educational programs for children and youth, based on its belief in the importance of culture and the arts in supporting children’s psychological and social development.
Arab Bank follows a comprehensive sustainability and corporate social responsibility strategy aimed at enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact. Its CSR program, “Ma’an” (Together), supports initiatives across multiple sectors, including healthcare, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women’s empowerment.
