Iranian state television reported Sunday evening that it had been targeted by strikes following a series of powerful explosions that shook Tehran, noting that broadcasting continued as normal.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, whose headquarters in northern Tehran had previously been targeted by Israel during the twelve-day war in June, said that its technical team is assessing the damage.
A series of strong explosions were heard Sunday evening in Tehran. The Iranian news agency Iranian Students' News Agency reported multiple explosions in eastern and northeastern parts of the capital.
Two additional powerful blasts also shook Tehran on the second day of U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran.
