QThe Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Dhaifallah Al-Farajat, announced a decision to partially and temporarily close Jordanian airspace to all arriving, departing, and transiting aircraft in light of ongoing regional developments and risk assessments in accordance with international standards.
Captain Al-Farajat explained that the measure will be implemented daily from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following day. The decision takes effect starting tonight and will remain in place until further notice to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation in Jordanian airspace.
The Commission urged all travelers to contact their respective airlines directly to confirm flight schedules and stay informed of any changes.
