The United States Department of State on Monday called on American citizens to immediately depart more than 12 countries in the Middle East amid ongoing U.S.–Israeli strikes against Iran.
Maura Namdar, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, stated that the department urged Americans to leave Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
