Hezbollah warned residents of northern Israel on Friday to evacuate to a distance of 5 kilometers from the border, according to a statement issued in Hebrew via Telegram. This comes a day after Israel issued evacuation warnings for the southern suburbs of Beirut ahead of a wave of heavy airstrikes.
In its statement, Hezbollah said:
"You are required to evacuate... a distance of 5 kilometers from the border" because "these areas are being used as military deployment points."
