The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that the country has been subjected to an Iranian attack involving missiles and drones.
In a statement released via the "X" platform, the Ministry said: "UAE Air Defenses are currently dealing with missile threats and drones originating from Iran."
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the sounds heard in various parts of the country are the result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, and fighter jets engaging drones and cruise missiles.
