As part of its charitable initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and as an extension of its continuous support as a key contributor to the Jordanian Threed Charitable Endowment since its launch in 2022, Zain Jordan supported the endowment’s efforts in distributing 1,400 meals to guests at its headquarters located in the Downtown area, next to the Al-Husseini Mosque.
Several company employees participated in volunteer work at the endowment site, assisting in the organization and distribution of meals. This support aligns with the endowment’s mission to provide hot, balanced meals served in a dignified manner that preserves the guests' respect.
Zain’s field presence reaffirms its approach to translating corporate social responsibility (CSR) into practical initiatives with a direct and sustainable impact, particularly those that enhance food security and target underprivileged groups. It also reflects the company’s commitment to empowering its employees to engage in volunteerism and fostering a culture of institutional giving, which deepens the impact of its community programs and provides real added value to society, especially during Ramadan—a month that embodies the values of solidarity and compassion.
Since the launch of the endowment, Zain has taken the initiative to support and contribute to its expansion to ensure its sustainability and broaden its services, enabling it to serve the largest possible number of guests. This step reflects the company’s belief in the importance of integrating private sector efforts with charitable institutions to achieve sustainable social impact.
It is worth noting that Zain has launched several charitable initiatives coinciding with the start of the Holy Month. Most prominent among these is its annual Community Solidarity Initiative, through which it distributed shopping vouchers for use at Military Consumer Corporation branches. This was done in cooperation with relevant authorities, targeting hundreds of families in need of support.
