Thursday, the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God head to Mina; To spend the three days of Tashreeq, where pilgrims who are in a hurry can throw the three Jamarat on the third day of Eid, and leave Al-Mashaar, before sunset on Friday.

The days of al-Tashreeq are the 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah.

The groups of pilgrims had left before dawn on the first days of Eid al-Adha, from Muzdalifah, and stayed there overnight. Then, after the dawn prayer, they headed to Mina to throw seven pebbles at Jamarat al-Aqaba, after standing on the level of Arafat, and performing the greatest pillar of the Hajj.

And the Saudi General Authority for Statistics announced that the total number of pilgrims this year 1444 AH amounted to 1,845,045 pilgrims, of whom 1,660,915 pilgrims came from outside Saudi Arabia through the various ports, while the number of pilgrims from inside Saudi Arabia reached 184,130 pilgrims.

It indicated that the number of male pilgrims out of the general total number of internal and external pilgrims amounted to 969,694 pilgrims, while the number of female female pilgrims out of the general total number of internal and external pilgrims amounted to 875,351 pilgrims.

Regarding the statistics of pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia, the authority indicated that the number of pilgrims coming from Arab countries amounted to 346,214, or 21%, while pilgrims from Asian countries other than Arab countries reached 1,056,317, or 63.5%, while the number of pilgrims from African countries, other than Arab countries, reached 221,863, or 13.4%. While the number of pilgrims from Europe, America, Australia and other countries not classified in Saudi Arabia reached 36,521, or 2.1%.

As for the ways of pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia; 1,593,271 pilgrims arrived through air ports, while 60,813 pilgrims arrived through land ports, while 6,831 pilgrims arrived through sea ports.
