Recent news reports have revealed significant moves by the Saudi club Al-Hilal, which are not limited to recruiting a new sporting director but also extend to targeting Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah from Liverpool in the coming period.
According to reports, Al-Hilal is seeking to appoint Richard Hughes, Liverpool's current sporting director, to a similar role within the club. This move is seen as a strategic step alongside efforts to persuade Mohamed Salah to join the "Blue Waves" (Al-Zaeem).
Al-Hilal's interest in Salah aligns with the Saudi Pro League's ongoing mission to attract global icons, following the high-profile signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and Karim Benzema. Salah is considered the next top priority, especially as Ronaldo nears the end of his career
