Gold Prices Surge in Local Markets: 21-Karat Reaches JOD 95.80

Amman – Gold prices in the local markets rose on Saturday by JOD 1.10 per gram, according to the daily price list issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold, the most popular in the local market, reached JOD 95.80 per gram at jewelry shops, while the buying price stood at JOD 91.10.
The selling prices for other gold karats at goldsmith shops were recorded as follows:
24-karat gold: JOD 109.60 per gram.
18-karat gold: JOD 84.70 per gram.
14-karat gold: JOD 66.30 per gram.
