The Iranian Central Military Command warned on Monday of a "more destructive" response if civilian targets are subjected to attacks again.
A spokesperson for the Central Military Command said in a statement published by the official Iranian Radio and Television on the Telegram app: "If attacks on civilian targets are repeated, the next stages of our offensive and retaliatory operations will be more destructive and broader in scope."
This warning follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat to Iran on Sunday to bomb its bridges and power plants on Tuesday unless it reopens the Strait of Hormuz.
