Amman – The Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army announced on Monday that Iran targeted the Kingdom's territory during the past 24 hours.
The Military Media Directorate of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted two drones, while defenses were unable to intercept one Iranian missile and one drone. The directorate clarified that the missile and the drone fell within the Kingdom's territory.
For his part, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate announced that the relevant units dealt with nine reports of different incidents over the past 24 hours.
He noted that two injuries in moderate condition occurred, along with material damage resulting from these incidents. He specified that one of the injured was transported to the hospital for treatment, while the other received first aid at the scene.
The media spokesperson renewed the warning against crowding, approaching, or tampering with any foreign object or shrapnel due to its high danger, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the advice and instructions published by official authorities.
He urged everyone to report any suspicious object to the security agencies via the emergency number 911, stressing the importance of following official instructions, relying on information from official sources, and avoiding the circulation of rumors or misleading news.
