Orange Jordan has opened registration for the 10th local edition of the Orange Social Entrepreneur Prize (OSMEP) for 2026, the company announced. Applications will be accepted from April 1 until May 10.
The initiative targets youth-led startups utilizing digital tools to sustainable social impact. Local winners will receive cash prizes of 4,000 JOD for first place, 2,500 JOD for second, and 1,500 JOD for third. They will also qualify for the international phase of the competition later this year, which offers prizes of up to 25,000 euros.
Eligibility criteria require applicants to be over 21 years old and startups to be less than five years old, operating in at least one of the 17 Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA) countries. Projects must also present a technical prototype.
Over its 15-year history, the prize has received 17,600 applications with female representation reaching 59%. According to the company, 72% of submitted projects focus on the agriculture, education, and environment sectors.
