The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced on Tuesday that the Abdoun Bridge and the Sixth Circle Towers will be illuminated in the colors of the Jordanian national flag from April 15 to 17 to mark "Flag Day."
The municipality stated in a press release that the celebrations, held under the slogan "Our Flag is High," will include the distribution of flags to citizens and motorists across various districts of the capital. The national flag will also be raised on poles and public squares, as well as on municipal buildings and vehicles.
The festivities aim to honor the flag as a symbol of sovereignty and national unity. GAM’s program also includes installing flags in residential neighborhoods and on new buildings, alongside a social media campaign and digital advertisements highlighting the significance of the occasion.
Jordanian Flag Day is officially observed on Thursday, April 16.
