The White House announced on Wednesday that the United States is holding discussions regarding a second round of negotiations with Iran in Pakistan, expressing optimism about the prospects of reaching an agreement.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters that these discussions are currently underway and that the administration feels positive about the potential for a breakthrough.
Leavitt added that it is "highly likely" any further round of talks between the two nations would be held in Islamabad. The statement follows the conclusion of an initial round of meetings held in the Pakistani capital last Saturday as both sides seek to end the recent military escalation
