Al-Ahliyya Amman University marked Jordan National Flag Day in a vibrant patriotic atmosphere on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The celebration saw wide participation from students, faculty, and administrative staff, reflecting a deep sense of national pride and identity.
​The university’s entrances and courtyards were adorned with Jordanian flags, and national anthems were played throughout the campus to mark the occasion. During the event, flags were distributed to attendees as part of the university's efforts to instill national values.
​The President of the University, Professor Sari Hamdan, emphasized that the Jordanian flag is a symbol of national unity and a history rich in sacrifice and achievement. He stressed the importance of strengthening loyalty and belonging among students and enhancing their connection to national symbols that embody the state’s identity. He noted that the occasion serves as an opportunity to deepen youth awareness of preserving the nation's gains under its wise Hashemite leadership.
