The Arab Potash Company (APC) has secured the top position among Jordan's export commodities during the first two months of 2026, driven by a robust operational performance in international markets. According to data from the Department of Statistics, potash exports surged by 46.5% compared to the same period in 2025, contributing significantly to a 3.0% overall rise in national exports, which reached a total of 1.35 billion JOD by the end of February.
​This growth was achieved despite regional logistical hurdles that have disrupted traditional shipping patterns and maritime trade. The company’s ability to adapt its supply chains and implement effective alternatives has been key to maintaining global export commitments. Engineer Shehadah Abu Hudaib, Chairman of the Board, stated that this performance reflects the efficiency of the company's operational and marketing strategies, solidifying its role as a primary pillar of the national economy and a vital source of foreign currency.
​Dr. Maen Nsour, CEO of APC, attributed the success to an integrated operational system focused on increasing production efficiency and optimizing costs. He noted that the company is moving forward with long-term investment plans to ensure sustainable growth. This follows a strong financial year in 2025, where the company recorded a net consolidated profit of 173 million JOD and revenues of 726 million JOD, supported by a record production level of 2.9 million tons and strategic sales targeting high-yield markets
