Director General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fairouz Mubaideen, on Tuesday discussed with Bulgaria’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Metin Kazak‏, ways to advance media cooperation between Petra and the Bulgarian News Agency.

During the meeting, Mubaideen outlined Petra’s role and mission in delivering news with professionalism and objectivity, as well as its efforts to keep pace with media developments, she stressed the importance of strengthening media partnerships between Jordan and Bulgaria to expand cooperation and exchange expertise and training.

For his part, Ambassador Kazak highlighted the depth of ties between the two friendly countries and underscored Bulgaria’s commitment to enhancing relations across sectors, particularly tourism.

At the end of the visit, the ambassador toured Petra’s departments and photo gallery, expressing admiration for the agency’s professionalism and its effective role in conveying the media image.
