The newly appointed chairman of Jordanian Academy for Government Administration Dr. Mustafa Hamarneh took the legal oath of office before Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday.
The swearing- in followed the issuance of a Royal Decree approving the Cabinet's decision to appoint Hamarneh.
The oath was held, in accordance with Article 24 of the Public Sector Human Resources Management System No. 33 of 2024 and its amendments.
Minister of State for Public Sector Development, Badriya Belbisi, and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Abdul Latif Najdawi, attended the ceremony.
The academy, which was recently established as the legal successor to the Institute of Public Administration, aims to develop a modern and flexible system for building employee capacities.
The academy also seeks to enhance competencies, raise performance efficiency in public sector institutions, and expand access to training opportunities.
