On Tuesday, Qatar will start implementing many procedures and decisions related to hosting the 2022 World Cup until the end of the tournament period.

According to these decisions, which were previously approved by the Qatari Cabinet, entry to the country will be limited to only three categories, including citizens, residents and fans who hold the “Haya” card, which everyone who owns any ticket for the tournament matches must apply for it.

The "Haya" card is an entry visa to Qatar, and gives its holder a variety of benefits, including free public transportation during the days of the tournament, in addition to allowing him to attend the events, parties, artistic and entertainment activities accompanying the tournament for free.

As of tomorrow, Tuesday, this card will be a prerequisite for entering Qatar, and its holder is allowed to stay in Qatar until January 23, and he is also allowed to enter and exit the country throughout that period.

The Supreme Committee for Projects and Legacy provides the possibility to obtain the card for all nationalities, provided that a ticket is available to attend any match, but there is a pledge that the applicant must sign to approve his request, as there are legislative laws for the tournament that will apply to violators.

Tomorrow, Qatar will also begin to reduce working hours in all government institutions and departments to 4 hours a day instead of 7 hours, as the working hours of government employees will be from seven to eleven in the morning, and the attendance of employees in the government sector will be limited to only 20%, while 80% of them will work remotely.

And the Qatari Ministry of Commerce and Industry had decided, as of the middle of this month, to extend working hours in all malls and commercial centers in the local markets until two in the morning until the end of the 2022 World Cup, as part of the preparations and efforts made in coordination with the authorities related to hosting the tournament, and in support of programs and activities. and activities associated with the matches.

Most of the shops and shopping centers in the Qatari capital, Doha, used to close early between nine and ten in the evening
